Welcome to Second Grade!
Dear Boys and Girls,
I'm sending this letter to welcome you to second grade, and invite you to open house on Tuesday, August 24th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. At that time you can find your desk, unload your supplies, sharpen your pencil and meet your teacher!
As summer quickly fades away and fall approaches, it's time to think about school. I'm looking forward to working with each and every one of you. I know we will have a wonderful year together. We will begin this year with a brand new math book. I'm excited about that!
Enjoy your remaining vacation days. If you haven't been reading this summer, it would be a good idea if you'd grab a book and start today! I hope to see you on Tuesday. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to call me at home.
